Chatham Beach and Tennis Club | Cape Cod
Enchanting photos from Kevin and Angeline’s Cape Cod destination wedding at the classic Chatham Beach and Tennis Club. This lucky couple enjoyed an amazing day with picture perfect weather and blue skies. Their captivating outdoor ceremony was held on the open dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was the kind of Massachusetts Beach Wedding that dreams are made of! As a photographer, I love shooting weddings while feeling the sand between my toes!
The historic Stanley Hotel is located in Estes Park, Colorado. This venue is famous for being the hotel in The Shining. Aimee and Alex flew from Manhattan, New York to have their Haunted Destination Wedding on Halloween weekend at this spooky venue. The indoor ceremony and reception were held in enchanting ballrooms at the hotel, with an orange and green theme. No Halloween themed wedding would be complete without a Bride of Frankenstein cake!
Megan and Ben’s artistic wedding photos were taken in the hip Colorado mountain town of Salida. I absolutely loved shooting the creative portraits in the historic downtown buildings. I don’t think I could ever run out of great backgrounds there! The gorgeous ceremony was held outside of the fantastic Salida Steamplant with a view of the mountains. The Salida Steam Plant is a striking new Colorado Mountain Destination Wedding Venue; check it out!
Vail Ski Resort is a world famous ski resort with an incredible summer outdoor wedding ceremony site. Teresa and Jacques were married high in the mountains of Colorado at the breathtaking Vail Wedding Deck. Most receptions are then held down in Vail Village, but for this wedding we traveled down to Golden, Colorado to the elegant Mt. Vernon Country Club. We had a second spectacular photo shoot in beautiful evening light in the fields of the Front Range hills.
When I was presented with the opportunity to second shoot a stunning Telluride mountain wedding, I jumped at the chance. This post shows a few of Erin and John’s marvelous wedding photos from a gorgeous location with dramatic view of the valley, mountain, and ski resort. The Peaks Resort wedding photos are truly alluring, as Telluride is one of the most ravishingly scenic towns in the world.
Colorful wedding photos from Devil’s Thumb Ranch are always among my favorites. Chris and Ivete’s wedding photos are unique in that they had a mountain bike themed wedding. I actually mountain biked on the property with the groomsmen the morning of the wedding! In the evening, we headed up to a viewpoint of Winter Park Ski Resort to shoot some luscious creative portraits, including this memorable image of the couple on a tandem mountain bike.
Victoria and Alex’s Palm Beach Wedding Photos are from my second destination beach wedding at the impressive Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The charmingly intimate ceremony was held indoors in the ornate Gold Room, while the reception was in the stately Magnolia Room. Traveling to sunny Florida is always a treat for me since my father lives in Tampa, and it allows me to coordinate a family visit!
This twilight ceremony photo from Rebecca and Todd’s wedding at The Breakers Resort is one of my all time favorites. This impressive outdoor beach ceremony was held on a beautiful lawn that rolls right up to the ocean, against a backdrop of tropical plants and palm trees. The reception was held in the magnificent Circle Room. Shooting a destination wedding with sand instead of mountains was an exciting change of scenery for this Colorado photographer!
