Stylish wedding photography from Mary and Ben’s farm wedding at the Pastures of Plenty in Boulder County, Colorado. Weddings at the Pastures of Plenty offer a scenic outdoor wedding ceremony and reception venue with delicious food. Mary’s alluring alternative style created some memorable fashion wedding images. Mary and Ben received the best wedding gift that I’ve ever seen; a custom Velvet Elvis painted with their likenesses with Elvis!
Artistic wedding photos from Lauren and Rich’s wedding at the Red Lion Restaurant in Boulder, Colorado. Getting ready began at The Marriott in Boulder, and we took creative groomsmen photos in downtown Boulder. The restaurant is a few minutes from town up Boulder Canyon, and the ceremony site is on the banks of Boulder Creek. I’m a big fan of the great cuts of wild game!
Romantic wedding photography from Leah and Matthew’s Military wedding at the Greenbriar Inn. The Greenbriar Inn is located at the foot of the mountains just north of town. We took some cool creative shots at a nearby park up Lefthand Canyon after the ceremony along the creek and with a perfectly restored vintage car. Since Matt is both in the military and a triathlete, half his friends shaved their head and half shaved their legs!
Alison and Dave’s wedding day began at the St. Julian Hotel with getting ready photos followed by a First Look. After First Sight, we captured elegant portraits inside the hotel before exploring the local alleys and heading down to the Boulder Creek Path. The ceremony was held out on the grass of Central Park. We then headed inside the art galleries of BMOCA for the reception finale.
Fashionable and funky wedding style mingled with rustic farm wedding chic at Nikki and JJ’s wedding at Lone Hawk Farms in North Boulder County. LoneHawk Farms is an uncommon wedding site in the breathtaking Colorado outdoors. The receptions at the farm are held inside the barn, and feature a stage that is great for music and live performances.
The vintage and historic Hotel Boulderado in downtown Boulder is one of my most popular wedding locations. The funky wallpaper and plush red velvet furniture offer nostalgic photo opportunities. Their ceremony was held indoors on the mezzanine under the iconic yellow stained glass roof. Any wedding where the groom wears custom Chucks is always a hit in my book!
The Stone Mountain Lodge features a mountain canyon location in Lyons, Colorado. Melissa and Nick’s cool wedding photos were taken on a hot summer day under bright blue skies. The red rock mountains which tower above are reminiscent of the desert of Southern Utah. Melissa did a great job designing the wedding details herself, and surprised everyone with a belly dance routine after the dances!
The charming St Julian Hotel is Boulder’s premier wedding venue. While wedding ceremonies can be held outside on the lawn with a view of the majestic Flatirons, Lindy and Keith’s wedding ceremony was conducted at the nearby First Presbyterian Church. We experienced a rainy day which prevented creative photos from being taken at my favorite downtown locations. This was all forgotten when Keith got on stage and literally “got the band back together”!
