We headed out to a local Boulder park to capture some real candid family moments.  Knowing that shooting pictures just on the grass can get stale, I decided to bring some props along.  I scored a collection of buckets to use for posing and having the boys play in. The other noteworthy part of the shoot for all of you photo nerds out there is that I shot the session using my new Nikon 24 1.4G and 85 1.4G prime lenses.  These lenses have amazing optical characteristics and yield fantastic results. They can be a bit tricky to get to focus properly at small apertures, but when you nail the focus they are amazingly sharp!

I took this shot of the Leget family last week during their photo shoot at Chautauqua. This one was fun because I climbed up a tree to get a unique perspective looking down from above.
