I’m always on the hunt for new locations in Boulder to shoot my high school yearbook photos.  It’s easy to be lured into thinking about exotic locations that require a lot of travel time.  This isn’t always convenient or time efficient for me, or my clients.  For Meredeth’s shoot, I took up the challenge to photograph her in the neighborhood of my suburban studio.  I was truly amazed at the backdrops that I found! I particularly love the shots under the willow tree and looking down that crazy tropical looking tree.  The shot of her standing in the tree was actually shot in my parking lot! So for all the photographers out there, the next time you are at a loss for a cool location, maybe take a closer look at what is right out your front door!
