Alexandria (Ali) and I went out earlier this fall in search of the perfect senior portrait. Unfortunately, the weather doesn’t always cooperate, and we were kept from going out in the open by gale force winds. As a result we kept sheltered from the winds by shooting near the buildings of downtown Boulder near my studio. In this first one, I love that her smile is just the slightest bit mischievous…

When we came across this “No Loitering” sign I did what any punk rock photographer should do: I told my client to loiter in front of it!

This was the photo that Ali picked for the yearbook. How cute is she? Seriously.

I love this last photo. I found this circle window right across the street from my office. I think this shot has the creative element that I strive for. It’s what separates my photos from all the other senior portraits that look exactly the same. If you want a memorable senior portrait that stands out from the rest, call Steve Z Photography!
