My good friend Robin recently tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Todd. They did me the honor of asking me to shoot their wedding, plus they provided me with a gorgeous location and good models to boot! The ceremony pictures were taken at The Hudson Gardens Event Center–a true gem down in Denver.

An artistic twist on the ol’ classic ‘Bridge Over The Pond’ shot.
There was an amazing variety of places to shoot at Hudson Gardens. I could probably shoot an entire season of weddings here and never run out of great spots to do the creative portraits.
The ceremony was situated under some nice shaded trees which diffused the strong sunlight of the day. Love it!
The happy couple took a pedicab ride from the ceremony grounds to the reception location. The Riverfront is a short ride down the Platte River Trail. We didn’t do any ‘Getting Ready’ shots, but I still took some time for one of my favorite wedding shots; the creative shot of the rings.
The Riverfront Event Center is a great location to have your reception if you are looking to boogie down! There is a top notch lighting, sound system, and dance floor. I’ve been thinking about doing a shot like the own below for a while. I finally found the right location to pull it off.
