Mary and Ben are one rad couple! Their wedding was at the Pastures of Plenty in Boulder, and we had epic-ly beautiful weather.  Their wedding pics came out soooooo good!  Here we have a little taste of Mary’s killer style:

Ben managed to jack up his knee at a Bachelor Party at the skate park!  He managed to pull off the wedding in style, it’s tough to notice the knee brace.  Don’t expect any whirlwind dancing photos though.

My third wedding at the pastures was the charm.  I finally figured out what to do with the old Toyota FJ in the weeds!  So hot!  I love the contrast — these photos are uber-popular on Mary’s Facebook Page!

Mary’s friend did the henna on her hands. I really enjoy it in the photos. I think it adds that little something extra and unique.

These guys received what is the coolest wedding gift, EVER. A Velvet Elvis featuring them with The King.  I laughed for five minutes.  I just hope my friends are cool enough to paint me and my future wife with Scooby Doo–the second greatest pop culture icon to Elvis. That would be glorious.

Here we have my trusty and spunky assistant, The Chad.  Everyone loves The Chad. In fact, I’m worried my girlfriend loves this photo too much. She really wants to post it as her Facebook photo, and that’s just plain weird.

Long time no blog! Well, the wait is worth it, I promise… I’m about to bombard you will more posts than you can imagine. First up: Candice and Scott. We had a great snowy engagement shoot this spring up in Nederland (view their engagement photos here). Fast forward six month to sunny Boulder where they enjoyed a intimate brunch wedding at the Greenbriar Inn.

Candice and Scott were gifted with a beautiful early fall morning.  I guess I can’t hide that I’m behind on my blogging, look how green the tree is!

Here we have the Father of the Bride with the Groom. What characters! I love this shot!

I was way pumped to shoot Jason and Katie’s wedding. We had a super fun engagement session where we rode cruiser bikes around town. This wedding was up in the mountains at the base of the Keystone ski resort. I even treated the girlfriend and myself to a condo stay in River Run, and did an epic mountain bike ride the next day. Yeeha.

I’ve never before shot a picture of a wedding dress that I thought looked like a jellyfish. I guess there is a first for everything. And I did manage to figure out a way to include bicycles into their wedding shoot as well. Bikes Bikes Bikes.

I had this cool shot set up with cool daylight streaming in from behind in the hallway of the Ski Tip Lodge. I told Katie to be overly dramatic. Bingo. Just like that.

The ceremony site was epic. The clouds came in and provided beautiful overcast skys and puffy clouds.

Recipe for beautiful photos of the couple: add one cup of mountain scenery, one tablespoon of wildflowers, a dash of photoshop textures, and two kids in love.

Sometimes I need to enlist the help of micro attendees to help me with my shenanigans.

In addition to unique getting ready shots, stunning ceremony landscapes and fabulous formals, the outdoor dancing shots in the bright sun were epic as well.

Third wedding blog post this week, yeah I’m rocking it out!!! Can I do my remaining three that are in the queue next week?!? I sure hope so, because then I’ll be caught up, and it will be champagne wishes and caviar dreams for me.

If you ever want to get on my good side, then you should text message me that you and your husband love me, like Anna does.  You could probably get in good with a lot of other people in this manner as well.

We kicked things off at the St. Julian Hotel in lovely Boulder, Colorado.  I got yelled at for sitting of the floor in the lobby shooting this next photo.  I hope they know that they shouldn’t get in the way of art . . . I’ve already got another wedding booked there in 2009.  C’mon, can’t you see how good she looks?!?!

And just in case you thought this was going to be an arty black and white blog entry . . . oh ho no!  Bring on the color at the Koenig Alumni House on the University of Colorado campus.

I’m such a sap, sometimes when I’m shooting uber-close-up photos of my couples crying during the vows, I get sucked in.  This was one of those times.

I found out that the night before their engagement shoot, they got in a big old fight, and that’s why they were so stiff during it.  No such problems getting in the mood today!  Anna and Mike like the funky shots, so I went hog wild.

Did I mention that we had a ton of fun?  Seriously.  Anna and Mike like to party.

Well I could stay here all night and post more photos, but I’ve got more more more weddings to edit.  I’ll leave you with a sampling of silly and sweet, in that order.  Anna and Mike are so in love it’s silly, and unplanned butt grabs are indubitably sweet.  Steve Z out.
