Amy and Todd opted for the geographically convenient radness of the downtown Boulder alley scene. They will be having their wedding at the Taharaa Mountain Lodge in Estes Park in October so I’m looking forward to this new-for-me venue. The leaves with be in color and we’ll be taking some classic Colorado scenery shots, so we opted for a little more of an urban feel for the engagement session.
Amy was freaking out for this shot, because yes, I had to stand on the wall to get it. Don’t worry, I’m a professional.
It was yet another overcast and almost rainy spring day that has typified our spring. I used the off camera lighting setup to underexpose the clouds and pop the subjects.
I wasn’t the only one who was put in danger during the course of this shoot. Hopefully this image isn’t foreshadowing our wedding portrait session near Rocky Mountain National Park.
